One solution here might be to buy the Super X3 from Arc and the Syil Super X3 Milling Machine Conversion Kit from Amadeal. The Syil X4 plus CNC looks very nice, but is way too expensive, and also is really too big and heavy. The 'manual' over-ride with an electronic hand controller looks great!

I have a X3 purchased from harbor freight in 2008. its not a horrible machine, but its not a commercial unit either. It works OK for small intermittent home jobs. I tried to sell it a few years ago, with no takers so I have since bought a CNC kit to try in the future.
