Lead Sub-Oxide / Grey Oxide (2PbO.Pb.H2O), also commercially known as Grey Oxide / Battery Oxide is used on an extensive scale for preparation of plates in Lead Acid Battries which requires production to strict specifications. Refined Lead (Minimum 99.97% purity) is required input for our Grey Oxide manufacturing plant, which uses the Ball Mill process.
Ball-Mill. A Ball-Mill with a capacity of 6M.T/day is installed in our plant. Our experienced staff, some of whom have been in the lead industry for more than 20 years produce superior quality grey oxide which gives excellent results for long lasting batteries.
Screen-mill process In this production method, lead cylinders, formed by a rotating casting machine, are fed into a mill drum. The lead cylinders are converted into oxide by means of oxygen added to the process. The operation is based on the principle that the product falls through holes in the drum shell and is then calibrated by sieves.
