From multi work-head/multi spindle machines, to hydrostatic ways and linear motors, Micron has the ability to hold ultra tight tolerances on bores, angles, and faces. Our ID grinders are very popular for fuel injector grinding in the automotive industry.
Capabilities. Our internal grinding department is equipped with 4 internal grinders. We have the capabilities to grind parts with bores as small as .250″ and a maximum swing of 90". We are equipped for deep hole grinding and can grind holes up to 48″ in depth. We can hold tolerances as close as .0002″.
